Dee, Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, my name is Dee.  I am one of the two Registered Dental Hygienists in the office and have been with the doctors for 25 of my 30 years of dental hygiene practice.  I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Melbourne.  In 1981, I graduated from Melbourne High School and then Palm Beach Junior College, School of Dental Hygiene, in 1983.  I completed my Bachelor of Health Science degree through Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, in June, 2012.   I thoroughly enjoy my profession, but it is the people that I have helped and continue to help that have kept me in it this long.  The relationships that have been built throughout the years have been the most rewarding aspect of my career.

My husband and I have two young adult children and enjoy travelling in our spare time.  I also enjoy scrapbooking with my family and friends.

Denise, Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, I’m Denise, and have been a RDH for over twenty one years and seventeen of those years have been with Dr. Blue.  I enjoy seeing the familiar faces of my longtime patients and meeting new ones daily.  As a hygienist, I take and process radiographs, gather information and evaluate periodontal tissues, perform prophylaxis and root planning procedures, place sealants and perform Zoom whitening procedures.  The satisfaction it brings me in helping to restore a patient’s smile to a healthy state is very rewarding and I love to hear patients say that I have helped them in their journey to dental health.

My personal life is centered around my family, friends and hobbies.  I volunteer as secretary for GWMAA, Football and Cheerleading Association and Melbourne High School Cheer Booster Vice President.

Trilby, Front Desk/Insurance Coordinator

Hi, I’m Trilby, Front Desk/Insurance Coordinator and have been with Dr. Blues’ office for the last 22 years and working in the dental field for over 30 years.  I joined the Family Dentistry team looking for a practice that prided themselves on ethics and excellence in dentistry and found that and more.   I’ve enjoyed following our patient families through the years and the many friendships that followed along the way.

Away from the office, I am a wife, mother and “Nanny” to my 13-year old granddaughter and spend as much time as possible nurturing her interests.   My husband and I are NHRA enthusiasts and my daughter and I enjoy the hobby of scrapbooking with some of my co-workers whenever we can work a Saturday into our schedules!   I am a big animal advocate and share in supporting the doctor’s CFAR organization.

Susan, Front Desk/ Appointment Coordinator

Hello, I am Susan, the Front Desk Appointment Coordinator.  I have been with Dr. Blues’ office for 15 years.  I started with the office as a part-time dental assistant.  The doctors provided me with the training and courses needed to become a Certified Dental Assistant with my radiology license and CPR training.  After 5 years I moved to the front desk and am the “smiling face” you see when you first come in.  On occasion I still assist and help the hygienists and enjoy the variety this position provides.

My family keeps me very busy.  I have two beautiful daughters and 2 handsome grandsons, that I enjoy babysitting.  Besides going to the beach, when weather permits, I enjoy watching my youngest daughter’s volleyball games.

Kristy, Dental Assistant

I am the newest member of the team as a Certified Dental Assistant, licensed in radiology and CPR certification.  I have been employed at Dr. Blue’s office for over a year now and am already part of the ‘family’!  Attending to the needs of our patients and their comfort level gives me great satisfaction.

I have a wonderfully energetic 7yr old son named Rivers.  We find ourselves very busy on weekends between the beach, car shows and amusement parks!  Whenever I find ‘free time’ for myself, I enjoy taking a leisurely ride on my motorcycle

Jessica, Dental Assistant

Hello, My name is Jessica.  I have been a dental assistant for 16 years, having received my certification from Indian River Community College.  I am Certified in Expanded Functions and Radiology.

The most favorable aspect of my dental career has been getting to know my patients, helping them feel welcome and comfortable.  I enjoy all aspects of the dental profession.

I have lived in Melbourne, Florida all of my life and also have a large family farm in West Virginia where I spent my summers growing up. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, as well as spending time with my dog Bullet at dog parks and waking on the beach.
